In conformity with the Work Package 1 of the ASTWOOD project, a kick-off meeting has been held on 24-25 of January, 2007 in Sierra de Gata, Caseres, Spain. All seven partners of the project took part in the meeting, and the main objectives were:
- To introduce project team members;
- General project overview and questions;
- Overview of the basic project plan element: Project Task List, Schedule, Communication Plan, meetings schedule, project administration, progress report;
- To define individual roles and responsibilities;
- To define the contact person within the project team.
In order to promote the ASTWOOD project, several key persons from public administration have been invited and attended at the meeting. Mayors in four Spanish towns from Sierra de Gata, and two representatives from the Cova da Beira Government, Portugal attended at the meeting.
